You will shape data models and software architecture, determine and drive the implementation of in-vehicle software platforms with a strong focus on connecting Autonomous Driving and Real-Time Systems with other domains contributing to a great customer experience. </p> <p> What awaits you? </p> <ul> <li> You will define the core semantic ontology and context data models that empower our future agentic AI for Autonomous Driving and Real-Time systems. </li> <li> As a Project Lead, you will drive the implementation of advanced data infrastructure functions from concept to SOP. </li> <li> Also, you design and implement a multi-level memory concept, enabling vehicles to learn and retain context across real-time and long-term horizons with particular focus on connecting to our in-vehicle speech assistant. </li> <li> You orchestrate the seamless integration of ML, GenAI, and symbolic reasoning rules to curate and foster the semantic context as "brain" for the vehicle. </li> <li> In addition, you develop the overarching data model strategy required for fine-tuning SLMs and VLMs for agentic applications in the Autonomous Driving and Real-Time system domain. </li> <li> Furthermore, you are responsible for selecting the technology stack (in-vehicle and toolchain) and creating high-quality reference datasets that define our AI performance. </li> <li> Your work directly influences how BMW vehicles perceive, reason, and act in complex, real-world environments. </li> </ul> <p> What should you bring along? </p> <ul> <li> Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, combined with the "Sheer Driving Pleasure" mindset to innovate. </li> <li> At least 3 years track record of managing technical projects and driving cross-functional teams toward a common architectural goal. </li> <li> Deep expertise in Knowledge Graph technologies, specifically SparQL, RDF, and GraphQL. </li> <li> Intimate familiarity with embedded systems and how to map physical signals to semantic meaning – previous experience in the automotive domain are appreciated. </li> <li> In-depth understanding of Agentic AI architecture, including memory management, tool-use, and multi-agent orchestration. </li> <li> Solid grasp of modern programming languages like Rust and Python, with a keen understanding of both embedded constraints and high-level AI frameworks. </li> <li> Passion for data quality and experience in designing complex information flows that fuel modern ML pipelines. </li> </ul> <p> Are you ready to shape the future of data-driven mobility with us?
