What are your tasks?

• You are responsible for planning and allocating our container equipment to ensure seamless availability for all import and export flows.
• You coordinate all operational activities at depots and terminals, from monitoring stock levels and tracking equipment to managing contracts with our partners.
• You independently organize the repositioning of empty containers by truck, barge, or vessel, which includes negotiating rates and executing bookings.
• You manage the on-hire and off-hire processes for third-party equipment and verify the correct handling of Shipper's Own Containers (SoC).
• You take charge of cost control by calculating demurrage and detention charges, verifying service invoices, and processing purchase orders.

Qualifications

• You have professional experience in container logistics, transport operations, or a similar operational field.
• Ideally, you also bring some experience in maintenance and repair.
• You possess a solid understanding of depot, terminal, and intermodal transport processes.
• You are a strong coordinator with a structured and detail-oriented way of working.
• Your communication skills enable you to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken.
