We are looking for a junior-level addition (m/f/d) to our capital market sales team with a focus in investment consulting, who speaks both fluent German and English and can work at our bilingual office near Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin.

Founded in Berlin in 1998, First Berlin prepares studies on small to medium-sized companies for institutional investors, as well as being active in investment consulting.

What you will do:

• Contact clients by phone and coordinate appointments with them
• Organize roadshows
• Acquire new clients and expand existing business relationships
• Create documents & reports
• Market our in-house research
• Carry out correspondence in German and English
• Active role in capital increases and block trade mandates on both equity and debt side

What we expect:

• Relevant professional training / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (preferably in economics)
• An independent, analytical, and structured way of working
• A high level of initiative, creativity, and the willingness to become familiar with new topics and areas
• A team player with a high level of self-motivation and an international mindset
• Outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and German, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally under stress
• Capital market knowledge, especially regarding European small and micro caps. Initial experience using Bloomberg is a plus.
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel occasionally
