Your responsibilities

• Disciplinary management of the team on site (including compliance with legal working hours)
• Examination of time records
• Accordance with cost and scheduling targets
• Initiate and record additional work and claims to customers
• Reporting of all meetings (MOM)
• Carrying out internal line audits
• Ensure that safety checklists are returned (CE before first production)
• Ensure that As-Built documentation is returned to the Project Manager
• Critical Problem Analysis (RCA)
• Execution of SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) according to DIN8743 and contract
• Final handover of the line to the customer with the Project Manager
• Review meetings
• Knowledge of contract contents
• Work on the project schedule (ongoing fine-tuning)
• Planning and procurement of the necessary work equipment (crane / forklift with PM)
• Schedule installation and assembly of machines on-site
• Supervision and coordination of the installation and commissioning of new machines, including subcontractors
• Documentation of project progress in reports
• Coordination of assigned technicians and third-party service providers
• Regular meetings and communication with the customer
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
• Monitoring of schedules and budgets
• Check delivered equipment for completeness and transport damage
• Fulfil QM process for damaged and missing parts notifications
• Personnel requirements submitted with a two-week lead time to Dispo
• Verification and acceptance of installed works by third-party service providers
• Coordination of subcontractors and acceptance of services
• Communicate delays in subcontractor timelines (complaint letters)
• Quality management at site and initiation of Quality Messages (together with the Project Manager)
• Consistent documentation and timely processing of open points with the Project Manager and customer
• Preparation and freezing of open item lists (LOI / Snag List)
• Description and resolution of technically complex problems on site
• Communication in the PCs of any problems at the installation site
• Cooperation with in-house interfaces such as Project Management, Technology, Sales and Material Requirements Planning
• Handover of machines, lines and systems to the customer
• Monitoring of all further regulations and laws

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering((essential)
• Trade qualification
• Previous Management Experience
• Familiar with projects
• Previous experience in leading installations
• Good people management skills and management of staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team member
• MS-Office
• Excel knowledge essential
• SAP
